'Tha Butchach is at the top of range 2 star B&B registered with Visit Scotland. Roberta and Peter offer a warm Scottish welcome to our lovely home.
Tha Butchach sits on the Southern Upland Way on the edge of the bonny village of New Luce.
The accommodation is 2 double rooms and 1 twin room plus a self contained flat. The Bed and breakfast accommodation is a purpose built extension. The flat sleeps 5 people and costs £180 per week including electricity and linen.
We are ideally suited as a base for tourists to visit the forests of Glen Trool and the many beautiful gardens in the Rhins and Machars.
We welcome all tourists, fishers, hunters, golfers and have secure facility for bikes and good parking.
Why not take a day trip ferry to Belfast from Stranraer or Cairnryan?
If you are walking we can take all the strain off your shoulders through our luggage collection service.
We provide packed lunches and delicious cooked Scottish breakfast and can offer dinner if it is pre-booked.
Your bedroom has refreshments tea,coffee and biscuits. Toiletries soap, shower gel and shampoo are provided as standard in your bathroom.
Tha Butchach provides hotel standard accommodation at bed and breakfast prices at £27 pppn. All accommodation is double glazed, central heated and situated on the ground floor.
We offer 2 or 3 day breaks 3 course dinner, bed and full Scottish breakfast Friday - Sunday which must be booked at £40 per person per night.
